This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the TANUP mobile application and related services ("Service").

1.2 Biometric Data (AI Face Scan Images)

TANUP's Face Scan feature analyzes facial images to assess skin type, tone, and tanning progression.

By using this feature, you consent to the processing of biometric data derived from your facial images.

1.3 Location Data

To deliver UV index, sunlight exposure, and tanning safety recommendations, we collect your approximate location while the app is in use.

TANUP does not use or share location for advertising.

1.4 Usage Data and Diagnostics

We collect technical and usage data to improve app performance:

• • Crash reports and performance data

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited data with trusted third-parties necessary to operate TANUP:

• Supabase: secure storage of your account and face scan images
• Mixpanel: usage analytics and performance metrics
• Apple (App Store): payment processing and subscription management
• WeatherKit / UV providers: retrieving UV and weather information (no personal data shared)

All partners use strict security and contractual safeguards.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Face scan images: kept while your account is active; deleted upon request.
• Account information: deleted within 30 days after account deletion.
• Usage analytics: anonymized and retained up to 24 months.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may request:
